We are excited to announce that the Polish Hospital Federation will be represented by its Chief Strategy Officer, Michal P. Dybowski, at the inaugural Green Healthcare Policy Summit for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. This significant event will take place on June 13th, from 14:00 to 16:30, Zagreb Time, on the Cisco Webex Platform.

The summit is an initiative of Health Hub, a regional policy think tank for healthcare, recognized for its influential role in health policy discussions across the CEE region. Health Hub has a history of successful collaborations with various esteemed organizations, including the European Commission, European Parliament, ministries of health, public health institutes, healthcare employers, patient associations, and the healthcare industry.

The Green Healthcare Policy Summit aims to foster alignment of healthcare systems with the EU’s Green Deal mission and vision. It seeks to encourage the development of a sustainable mindset among regional healthcare stakeholders, focusing on various aspects of green and sustainable healthcare, such as green and sustainable facilities, waste management, green procurement, and digital solutions.

Representing the Polish Hospital Federation, Mr. Dybowski will deliver a keynote address on advocating green healthcare in our daily practice. This topic is of immense relevance in the current global scenario and aligns with the federation’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices in healthcare.

Furthermore, the Polish Hospital Federation will share its perspective on the potential of a green mindset and digital transformation in Polish hospitals during a presentation or panel session. This valuable input will be included in the final summary and Summit’s call to action, contributing to the broader discourse on sustainable healthcare practices.
